When we received the shoes they seemed to be made well. I liked the color, and the fit was true to size. But when my daughter wore them for the first time the bungee came apart on one of the shoes! Upon inspection, they tie the bungee together at the top of the sandal with a small thin string. This is hidden under one of the eyelets. There is no way to tie the bungee again, and I knew that the shoes wouldn't hold up for my 5 year old. I returned them and bought a brand new pair of Keens for the same price as these on eBay.

The laces on these broke after two weeks. They are elastic coated in nylon and are permanently mounted and cannot be replaced. Amazon refunded the purchase.

The sandals arrived on time, they are a good fit, and my son really likes his "new shoes". No complaints.

Bought these sandals for my daughter to wear to summer camp...they are perfect!Rugged like sneakers yet......
