For some years my mother wore the same style of beige Grasshoppers with a Velcro closure. However, when I started looking for a new pair for her, I couldn't find them anywhere. My mother is in her 90's and it's just not practical to try and take her around to different shoe stores to find something new that will work. These looked similar to her old style, and I'd heard good things about Propet, so I thought I'd give these a try. I took note of other reviewers who mentioned the shoes seemed to run narrow, so I ordered them the same size as the Grasshoppers, but wider. To both my mother's and my surprise and relief, they fit perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to order her another pair in a different color.
These shoes were almost a week in transit before being delivered. They are exactly as pictured. Unfortunately, they are not a good fit. I actually ordered 1/2 size larger than I usually wear and they were still uncomfortably short in......
