The fit was fine but these socks were disappointingly thin - not fluffy at all. I guess you get what you pay for.
They're just regular old cotton socks, not cushiony at all really, and kinda small too. I wear a size 7 1/2 to 8 and these are small on me. They do stretch to above my ankle, but the grey ankle patch is way higher than it should be so it shows they're stretched too far. If I didn't stretch them, they'd be low-cut socks, not ankle socks, and I don't like low-cut socks, sam-i-am.
But, eh, they were cheapy socks, can't complain too much. I only use cotton socks for the summer, cos they wear out too fast, get wet & stink, and don't keep feet warm in winter. Could've gotten em cheaper at MalWart but oh well, I wanted to make up the minimum purchase to get free shipping from Amazon :)
These are exactly what I wanted. Fit great. I by Hanes products all the time. I would buy them again. ......
