These boots keep my feet super warm in subzero temps (they actually sweat sometimes!). I think they had been worn and returned to the store they came from. They had some dirt on the treads...? But they are meant for mud so I guess its no big deal. I have gotten lots of use out of them in snow and mud and cold.
These are big, roomy boots, easy to step into before heading out into fairly deep snow, slush, mud, etc. Easy to hose off or rinse off in a utility sink. I walk across our small creek in these and they are waterproof. I can get them off pretty easily without touching them with my hands. Not as warm as boots meant for hiking in snow, and not as comfortable either, but perfect for chores all year round.
