I bought this to use with saddle soap for cleaning casual to dress leather shoes. It would be perfect if the bristles were a bit stiffer. They are almost as soft as polish buffing brush.

These are more coarse than others I have purchased in the past but so far are working as needed. They do a good job with the Kiwi polish I like.

I have found that this product meets my expectations, the cleaning fluid that I pour on it stays there until i apply to the shoe.

I like this horsehair applicator. For years I've been using a piece of cotton cloth to apply the shoe polish but it didn't reach into the recessed area between the sole and shoe leather. This applicator is so much better and my hands aren't covered with polish. I wish I had purchased it years ago.

Does the job it's supposed to do. If you like polishing your shoes the old fashioned way, this is a quality apllicator ......
