I gave this five stars b/c I do think they are great sandals! They weigh next to nothing. They are so flexible!! My son loved how they felt. He said, "it feels like I don't have shoes on!" The only issue is my 7yo needs a Wide or an Extra Wide width.He wore these to school and at the end of the day, he said they were hurting his feet at the front strap. Yes, it can be loosened, but the side of the shoe cannot be made wider, so where the straps were anchored to the sole wasn't wide enough. I will save these for his little brother who has a regular width and he'll wear them eventually. A kid who has a more barefoot......
